We are pleased to offer this very nice driver quality 1956 Mercury Montclair for a long time friend and 

long time car collector.

The owner (Art) is a true gentleman and extremely honest. He called us and asked us to please come

to his warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale,FL and to take a look at this 56 Mercury he purchased about

6 months ago in California. He said he had paid $20,000 for this car (plus shipping) from the State

of California. After the car arrived, Art spent a lot of time and money to make sure this car ran properly and was safe to

drive. 

The seller had been less than honest and did not disclose the true condition of this car.

The front bumper for example needs to be re chromed. It is dull and faded in several areas.

The driver’s side back window has a hairline crack and should be replaced. The passenger’s

side back window is difficult to roll up and down.

The paint is nice but certainly is not “Show quality”

The car does crank right up, drives out very nice and garners a ton of attention and

thumbs up. The brakes work well as do the lights, horn and wipers.

This is a true #3 or “Driver Quality” 61 year old car. It is not a “rust bucket” and has

a lot of potential should you want to take it to the next level.

Art is realistic and realizes that he is going to take a loss on this Mercury Montclair

because unlike the unscrupulous prior seller, Art insists on representing this car truthfully.
