We are proud to offer this stunning 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier Edition to the most astute collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates the style and luxury offered by these Collector Signature Series Lincoln Continentals.
When you slip inside this truly Magnificent luxurious, very special & highly collectable Lincoln Continental Designer Series Cartier Edition, you will instantly realize your about to experience a luxurious ride that is out of this world. Click in the combination lap & shoulder belt, adjust the 6 way power seat and tilt wheel to your best comfort level, turn the key, and if needed, turn on the cold air-conditioning.
You also might want to turn on the Stereo system, select your favorite station or slip in one of fourteen 8 track tapes that are included with this car…my personal favorites are anything by Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
The comfort level of seating provided by this car was unmatched by any car in the world back in 1979.(That includes Rolls Royce & Bentley)
What is really amazing, very few cars made today in 2019 can come close to matching the comfort level of this Mark V Cartier which is now 40 years old. I have some expensive leather sofas in my residence but personally speaking, they are not equal to the comfort level provided by this very low mileage 1979 Mark V Cartier. You just have to experience the sheer joy of driving this very special car to fully appreciate what Lincoln Continental was building 40 years ago.

I have owned and driven many of the Lincoln Designer Series….but none as pristine as this car.
It is in truly remarkable condition, everything works in this car and the paint appears to be all original.
I had it checked with a paint meter which confirmed original and uniformly even painted surfaces.
There is no indication of any bodywork, paint work or touch up ever having been done on this car.
You will not find a ding or a dent on this car. The prior owners must have been extra careful as to where
they ever parked this car. We trust the lucky new owners will be equally careful.
The plastic fillers that are utilized around both the front & back bumpers are perfect…no cracks or blemishes
The special Turbine Aluminum Wheels are perfect. No curb rash.
I drove this car 25 miles today and the ride is incomparable…..incredibly smooth & quiet. It might have a few more miles on it before it is delivered to the new lucky owner…I really love driving this Lincoln Mark V Cartier.
You can close the doors with one finger and when closed, it sounds like a door in a vault closing.
The special license plate that came with this car would indicate that this car’s first owner, Paul E. Peffley
attended the United States Naval Academy. In doing a search on line for a Paul E. Peffley, we were able
to find a Paul E. Peffley, age 82, living in Pennsylvania not far from where this car was originally delivered.
USNA-57 (United States Naval Academy) The 57 (1957) would be the approximate right year for a gentleman
who is now 82 to have graduated from the Naval Academy in 1957.
This car is being offered at $1000 of dollars below the current market value..
