We are selling this car for a dear pal…He owns his own restoration
shop and has been in business at the same location doing fabulous work
since 1985 in Hallandale Beach, Florida
Steve bought this car 16 years ago and has a mountain of receipts for
both labor and parts that add up to almost $22,000. If he had not done
a lot of the work himself…the bills would be a lot more.

Rather than spend a couple of hours listing everything, we took a photo
of the stake of receipts and have it in the auction. It weighs almost 3 pounds.
Here are a few of the many things Steve paid to have done on this Mercedes
1.He replaced the original 4.2L original with a lower mileage 5.6L engine from
a Mercedes 560SL…you can really feel the difference in performance
when you drive this long wheel base sedan.
2.Steve had the entire transmission professionally rebuilt.
3. He went through the AC system and replaced most major components. (Blows cold)
4.Replaced most of the suspension components
5.Had the ENTIRE brake system replaced with quality parts. Stops great!
6.Steve had the entire car professionally repainted. If you took a car like this and
wanted it repainted to this level..it would cost you a minimum of $10,000-$12,000.
7.All new Steel belted Radial quality tires. (spare included)
You could fly in to Ft. Lauderdale Airport and drive this car back home in safety
